Mohammad Reza Foroutan is an Iranian actor who was born in 1968 in Tehran, Iran. He started his career in cinema with the movie "Target" by Bahram Kazemi. He won the Crystal Simorgh of Best First Role Actor from Fajr Film Festival for "The Red" by Fereydoun Jeirani. He has also been nominated for Best First Role Actor in Fajr Festival for "Karat 14" by Parviz Shahbazi, "Caanan" by Mani Haghighi and "Forty Years Old" directed by Alireza Raisian.
