Mahnaz Afshar is an actress who was born in 1977 in Tehran, Iran. She had her first experience in “Gomshodeh” television series by Masoud Navabi in 1998. She entered in cinema with “Doostan” movie by Ali Shah Hatami and became famous with “Shor-e Eshgh” by Nader Moghadas in 2000. She has won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Supporting Actress from Fajr Film Festival for “Saadatabad” by Maziar Miri. She has also been nominated for the Crystal Simorgh of Best First Role Actress from Fajr Film Festival for “Ghasam” by Mohsen Tanabandeh, “Axing” by Behrouz Shoeibi and “The Wooden Bridge” by Mehdi Karampoor.
