Shaghayegh Farahani is an actress of cinema and theater who was born in 1972 in Tehran, Iran. Her first time in front of the camera was for Dariush Mehrjui's "Leila" movie. By playing in Ahmad Amini's "An Umbrella for Two " and "A Butterfly in the Wind" by Abbas Rafeyi, she brought admirers of cinema critics attention to herself. She has played in films such as "Kalashnikov" by Saeed Soheilli, "Vaghti hame khaabim" by Bahram Beyzaee, and "Paper House" directed by Mehdi Sabbaghzadeh.
