Behrouz Afkhami is a director who was born in 1956 in Tehran, Iran. He started his career in television and starred as a director in “Sardar-e Jangal” in 1987. He has won a lot of awards such as the Crystal Simorgh for Best Movie and Script for “Azar, Shahdokht, Parviz and Others” and Jury Award for Best Directing for “Gavkhouni” from Fajr Film Festival. His most notable activities as a director are “Saint Petersburg”, “Hemlock”, the “Fox” and “Azar, Shahdokht, Parviz and Others”.
