Khosro Shakibaei was an actor of cinema, television, and theater who was born in 1944 in Tehran, Iran. He continued his education in theater of acting at the University of Tehran's Fine Arts College. He began his artistic career with the theater and his first movie was for "Red Line" made by Massoud Kimiaei. Many years later, he played in Dariush Mehrjui's "Hamoun" movie that was admired by audiences and critics and won the statue of the Best Actor from Fajr Festival. He won the Best Actor Award from Fajr Film Festival for the movie "Kimia" by Ahmed Reza Darwish and "Salad of the Season" by Fereydoun Jeirani. Among his other activities on television, we can also refer to the "Samak-e- Ayyar", "Kochak Jangali", "Green House" and "Green Land" series. He has also featured in movies such as "Sarah" by Dariush Mehrjui, "Khaharan-e Gharib" by Kioumars Pour Ahmad, and "Unruled Paper" directed by Naser Taghvaei.
