Varuzh Karim Masihi is a director, editor, and scriptwriter who was born in 1952 in Arak, Iran. He started his career in cinema and starred as a director in “The Last Act” in 1990. He has won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Director for “The Last Act” and “Tardid” and for Best Editing for “Nadarha” by Mohammadreza Arab from Fajr Film Festival. His other notable activities are “The Lost Love” by Saeed Asadi, “The Fishes Fall in Love” directed by Ali Rafiei and “A 5-Star” by Mahshid Afsharzadeh.
