Reza Ataran is an actor, director, and editor who was born in 1968 in Mashhad, Iran. His first activities as an actor were “The Flight 57” and “Joyful Hour” by Mehran Modiri. After that, he starred as an actor and director in the “Vagabond” and “Motaham Gorikht” series. He has won the Best First Role Actor Award for “Sensitive Floor” by Kamal Tabrizi and won the Best Directing Award for “I Feel Sleepy” from Fajr Film Festival. Reza Ataran has been nominated for the Crystal Simorgh of Best First Role Actor for “The Corridor” by Masoud Shoeibi, “I Feel Sleepy” and “Confiscation” by Mehran Ahmadi. His other activities are “Nish O Zanboor” by Hamidreza Salahmand, “Absolutely Tame Is a Horse” by Abdolreza Kahani, “Sperm Whale” by Saman Moghadam and “Centipede” directed by Abolhasan Davoodi.
